Don't Be Stingy - Come and Share Your House Cleaning Tips

Firstly, how do you spell vacuum???

:D

I have a great vacuum, a Kenmore, very expensive, always done a great job for me. HOWEVER, I have longish hair, and a long haired cat. Even after I give my carpet a good vacuum, there is still hair left on the carpet. You can't see it, but if you take a lint brush over the carpet, then you can tell it's full of hair still.

Anyone out there been able to find a solution to this? Buying a new vacuum is not an option of course, for financial reasons...

Thanks!

I have a tool called the Euro Shine ( http://euro-shine.com/RubberBroom.htm ) which works great for hair on carpet. I got mine at a home expo show but perhaps you can find a place to pick one by checking out the website. It is a wonderful tool for stairs in between vacuuming.

A vacuum cleaner is a device that uses an air pump to create a partial vacuum to suck up dust and dirt, usually from floors, and optionally from other surfaces as well. The dirt is collected by either a dust bag or a cyclone for later disposal. With the help of this cleaner we can clean the house as well as carpet.
