New to biz

Hi. I want to start a home~cleaning business so I can leave my FT job. I want the flexibility & income cleaning offers but how do i get started when i can't leave my day job until I have steady income from cleaning? (I'm a single mom of 2 ~ I NEED a job!) I get off work at 3 and can be at a clients home by 3:30 ~ is this too late in the day to even TRY to get started?
